The stay at The Moorings was enjoyable, thanks to the stunning views of the lake and mountains right from the balcony. The separate kitchenette allowed for easy meal preparations, making it family-friendly. Spacious rooms gave us plenty of comfort, especially with the outdoor deck that was perfect for relaxing. However, the bathroom could definitely use some updating. the shower over the bath felt outdated and lacked attention to cleanliness, with some mold in the grout. We also experienced noise from outside, which disturbed our sleep. One morning, a loud leaf blower started up too early for anyone wanting a peaceful start. The staff were friendly yet seemed overwhelmed when we had a small issue with check-out times. A little extra courtesy would have made a lovely stay even better.

The bathroom felt neglected with a low sink and dampness, towels didn't dry as there was nowhere to hang them!!! The disabled bathroom allocation without notice is frustrating and disappointing!!!

Cozy room, stunning view, the cozy room featured a little balcony to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the lake and comfortable amenities like a flat-screen TV and electric kettle.

The location is incredible, the lake view right from our balcony was simply stunning. Staff were also very helpful, agreed on a late checkout which saved us a bit of hassle after our plans changed.

It wasn’t the cheapest option, but honestly it was pretty acceptable for what you get.

The uninterrupted lake view from the spacious room created a serene backdrop for our stay, complemented by the warm sunlight that filled the space. The kitchenette was well-furnished, making it convenient for preparing meals, while the cozy atmosphere was enhanced by the fireplace. Unfortunately, access to some rooms involves stairs, which might be challenging for guests with mobility issues, and the bathroom could use more attention to detail. Overall, the welcoming host added a personal touch to our experience.

staying at moorings motel and apartments was a delightful experience. the stunning views of the lake from my room were breathtaking. the kitchenette was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. darren, the staff member, provided exceptional service by carrying my bag across the road to the shuttle bus. it felt safe and welcoming, with a nice playing area for kids nearby.
